In conjunction with the Athens-Clarke County Attorney’s Office, PAWS teaches an online animal welfare class covering the state and local laws concerning animal welfare and best practices for caring for cats and dogs. An asynchronous version of the class is being prepared which will allow its use in jurisdictions outside of Athens-Clarke County.
